Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

When it comes to how bored you are the equation is -> x = Numanoid boredom + 1Daags wrote:on a scale of 1 - 10, how bored are you ?
I mean how bored can you actually be to roam around picking on other you fear are even more bored than you?
I guess there are no giveaway affiliation codes for Novation that you can spam about at this time.

The first 3 albums were quite good, with War being the pick of the bunch. After that, just a couple of decent tracks on the odd album. Cant say ive listened to much tho, since Actung...

The one that comes to mind right now is the one where they sing about thinking they have landed a job as an Internet content provider and ending up clicking "like" for $ 0.01 a click somewhere in Bangladesh, rationalising the failed career move as "at least its better than spending your life filling forums with crap for nothing."

I really liked where they were going for Achtung Baby and Zooropa but then I felt like most everything they've done since is just rehashing their old stuff. Other than a few stand out hits it all feels like they're going through the motions but have no real passion for it any more.

This. Achtung, Zooropa, and Pop were when they were willing to experiment. Not everything was great, but I liked the attempt for them to do new and interesting things. When Pop didn't do as well, it seems like they got the message not to stray too far from the stereotypical U2 sound. Personally, I still enjoy listening to Pop and title track from Zooropa is one of their best IMO.zerocrossing wrote:I really liked where they were going for Achtung Baby and Zooropa but then I felt like most everything they've done since is just rehashing their old stuff. I voted Achtung as it was really quite an impressive re-invention of themselves. The ZooTV tour is still a legendary tour.
