Does anyone know of a (free) VST that does what piz's "midiOut" plug does, but 64-bit? And ONLY does that, I don't need further functionality.

All it does it direct MIDI to an "outside" MIDI port (for e.g., a port not used by the host) from within the VST host. So for example I used to be able to put midiOut on a track in Reaper and send MIDI coming to that track on to a loopMIDI port (loopMIDI's a virtual MIDI cable) not utilized by Reaper itself.

I'm aware of nf_MIDI_OUT (buggy and inconsistent in Reaper 5) and Tobybear's VST2MID (crashes). Any others? Or will I have to track down the piz midi source code and find a way to compile midiOut to 64 bit myself? Thanks.

why don't you use the 64 bit version of piz midi?
