Just released my latest sound library for the Korg MS-20, which is probably the best recreation of any VST out there.

Library normally will sell for $29.95 but for a limited time only you can pick up your copy for just $15.

Listen to demo containing 20 of the 160 sounds. Demo sound list in Soundcloud description.

You can pick up your copy at: http://www.wagsrfm.com/ms20/

Also, don't forget to check out my other 16 sound libraries at: http://wagsrfm.com/vst-synth-sound-libraries/

If the MS20 has some love maybe you might also consider the mono/poly? No one has even come close to exploiting the wonderful weirdness you can get with the original poly mode combined with the arpegiator...

In the meantime though the MS20 is good. I used to have the hardware many years ago, used it mainly for huge pinknoise landslides and hits.

Unfortunately, the mono/poly GUI is just too small for me to work with so it is doubtful I'll be coming up with a library for it any time soon.

First, congratulations on the release.

One thing though. Be very careful with that "limited time" offer.
I check your website once in a while, and your banks are always on sale "for a limited time".
Right now, all your banks are still on the "limited time" offer.
If your work is constantly on sale, that's false advertising and very deceiving for the customer.
I'm sorry if I'm opening a can of worms here.

No can of worms to worry about. Limited time means just that. Eventually, they will be going to full price once I've sold X number of units. Because I make so very few sales (I'm not one of the big boys in this business) I'm not close to that number yet. Perhaps I should actually add to each page "Once X units are sold, price will go up."

In fact, one of my sound libraries is going to be removed permanently because the developer has essentially abandoned the project and I don't want to sell something that has no support. In fact, I'll even tell you which one it is. It's The Mangle library. Very disappointed in how the whole thing went down. But that's another story altogether.

Anyway, don't you worry. One day you'll check out those pages and all sound libraries will be full price (and still less money than just about every sound library out there)

But that's another story too.

Well, your strategy sounds a little strange to me.
Who's going to buy your sounds now when they know they will be cheaper, all the time, later? We're not talking about video games here. Soundbanks don't get old.
And don't mention sales number. If they are low (as you say they are), it will definitely be a turn-off.

Why not define a reasonable full price, do an introductory one for about a month and then have occasional discounts? You need to attract the customer's attention but be honest with them.
It's worked pretty fine for me and it seems to be what other synths programmer around here also do.

If want to continue this conversation, maybe doing through PMs would be more appropriate.

Thanks, but I'm not doing anything dishonest. I don't sell a lot of sound libraries because I don't cater to the EDM crowd and my sounds are not loaded with wub-wub and supersaw. So I have a very small audience.

Nobody has complained about my sales practices. If they don't want to buy because they're cheap, that's fine with me. I'm not looking to make a million dollars at this business. I do what I do because I enjoy it. If people buy, great. If not, that's fine too.

So how about you tend to your business and I'll tend to mine. If you feel I'm doing something unethical, report me to the BBBOnline.

Oh, and one other thing.

People not buying my libraries because I don't make a lot of sales?

Huh?

I thought people buy libraries because they like the way the sounds sound. If they don't like them, they don't buy them. I certainly don't buy stuff because of how few sales they make, not that I'd even have a clue.

Most ridiculous argument I'd ever heard in my life.

Huh? Most people don't produce EDM either.

Fine. I was just curious and you answered. No need to report you to anyone.

Misread one of your posts and replied something wrong. Just keep doing what you do. Once again, I was just curious about your sales strategy but I should just have shut up.
Hope your release is a success.
