As others have said, the quick start project is missing from the free T4 download, but the quick start guide relies on it. If someone has it, could they upload it somewhere as a favour to newcomers to Tracktion? Or maybe not being able to find it is a sign...

If you can find the old Mackie Tracktion 3 user guide PDF , you'll be in good shape ..... Maybe Google can help .

I've got the T4 Quick Start guide somewhere, but I don't know what the track was.

It's not the quick start PDF that's missing, it's the project it uses as the tutorial - probably Quick Start Project.trkarch. Lots of threads on different sites with people asking where it is - they removed it from the T4 download when it went free last year.

The T3 QS guide starts from scratch rather than an existing project so I'll use that, thanks - hope it makes sense in T4.

I know. I thought the T4 QS might mention what the track was, since I've no other way of knowing.
