LOL KVR is such *not* the LPX site like Gearslutz, just like PT. Zero replies after an update; if it was S1 or Reaper, or pretty much anything on the Windows platform other than Samplitude, there'd be 50.ValliSoftware wrote:https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203718

Where did you see that?TheoM wrote:FWIW it's been said at gearslutz that 10.2.2 makes the automation PDC problem worse, in that previously, you could get around it through ordering your inserts a certain way, but now, any effect in a track insert chain that has latent fx, is out of time in automation.

Not worse than 10.2.1 and better than 10.2.0
It works, but I haven't checked yet Melodyne v2 with it. Logic 10.2.2 shows an warning message about incompatibility with v2.
Isn't that great, Logic warns you, Melodyne cannot deliver a proper update for v4... gotta love those developers

The previous version for Melodyne was 3.x which I had until I upgraded to 4.xstardustmedia wrote:Not worse than 10.2.1 and better than 10.2.0

What specifically was an issue with Melodyne 4, was that with Logic or???

I think it was with Logic, yes. It made Logic crash, so a killer bug. But Melodyne also released an update.
The day will come I have to upgrade Melodyne as well. Maybe v2 works good enough at the moment, until v4 gets sorted out, then I can upgrade.

Come on now, V2??stardustmedia wrote:I think it was with Logic, yes. It made Logic crash, so a killer bug.
You needed to upgrade to V3 at least back then but now that V4 is out V3 is long gone.
Set aside 30 days and download the Trial which is not restricted in any way.stardustmedia wrote: Maybe v2 works good enough at the moment, until v4 gets sorted out, then I can upgrade.
I did that to make sure what I use Melodyne for not just works but the workflow didn't change too much.
It took me just 1 week and then I upgraded to V4.

I don't really complain. I heard other people complaining about it, that v2 is not compatible anymore. And they didn't like my reply that one day a software becomes unsupported. They were saying "other developer still support yaddayadda, XYZ and ABC for free... blablabla".ValliSoftware wrote:Come on now, V2??

The day will come I will upgrade to v4. But at the moment I'm fine with v2... although I haven't tried it with 10.2.2. The day could be very near

If I can help out, I'll try but somethings I've read about these "issues" are like, really?stardustmedia wrote:And they didn't like my reply that one day a software becomes unsupported.
I made the mistake one time and said, well, learn how to code and do it yourself. Talk about backlash, oh brother.

I don't think it was that thread, there's another one and the guy even left Logic for some other sequencer.TheoM wrote:ValliSoftware wrote: https://www.gearslutz.com/board/apple-l ... 2-2-a.html
it's in this topic somewhere.
I did point out in that thread that the Transposer MIDI-FX plug-in isn't working.
