I'm new to vinyl and need suggestions on which turntables to get. But first, I have a few questions.
What are the differences between a decent turntable compared to a high quality one? Is it sound quality? features? both? I hear that the Technics are the best..
I need suggestions on some decently priced turntables that are both great for sampling, enjoyment and usb compatible.

Technics are nice, Pioneer is nice, and I haven't tried Reloop by myself but I've heard that they're nice for being really basic http://www.reloop.com/reloop-rp-2000-mk3-usb .
One important thing between different turntables is the engine or motor. It defines how fast the record starts spinning when you hit play. Some cheap craptables feel like the record is on a rubberband and it's not an effect you want
Stay away from gemini and numark. American audio can surprise but I'd stay away from that too. Generally I'd stay away from any cheap or under 500e turntable
But like I said, that Reloop I've heard that it's good for beginners with price/quality ratio.

Audio Technica LP120. Has a built in pre amp and usb. Great build, great sound. I have 2 and use them as normal decks/dj decks. Never had a problem. Much cheaper than a 1210, but doesnt fall on quality. You will needs s decent head/cart etc tho.
Has pitch +/- 10% & +/- 20%. Also has reverse!

A lot depends on whether you'll be DJ'ing/scratching or just listening.
For DJ'ing, you'll want a direct drive so that it responds faster. You'll also want a spherical needle so that your records don't get ruined when you scratch.
For listening, you'll want a belt drive so that the cartridge picks up less motor noise. You'll want an elliptical needle that will get deeper into the grooves for better sound.
With those generalizations aside, a Shure M44-7 (spherical needle) on a Technics 1200 (direct drive) sounds great and is more like what you've heard on classic hip hop. I also like the Shure White Label, it has a smooth, sweet sound that I sometimes prefer over my elliptical needle, even if it's technically less high fidelity.

For listening purposes I've been using a belt driven REGA PLANAR 3 for 25 years. It never broke down, in fact I never had any issues with it.
For listening only though but at it's price it's unbeatable. DJ stuff I have no idea about. The Rega is around £475 + cartridge.
