Studio One - Automation "treshold"

Hi guys,
can you help me with my question please:

I have an midi keyboard with tiny rotary knobs. I want to record volume automation in Studio One.

I want to set up all my mixing levels and then automate the volume of some tracks here and there, but unlike a good fader my rotary knobs don't allow for a very exact automation curve. Is it somehow possible in automation to pre-define a maximum volume treshold that the automation will not exceed when turning the volume up via my otherwise not very precise rotary knobs on my midi keyboard? How would you go about this?

You could be able to set the min/max value for the knob from the actual midi keyboard. Depends on the brand/model and if it has this feature.

You should check the manual of your midi keyboard.
