Waves central: Possible work-around/ fix

This thread is for those that reported having the same issues I reported over several months. This is for users already familiar with the issues, since I don't wish to cover the same complaints- yet again.

After trying every suggestion given by Waves... it became clear that I was beating a dead rat in vain. After having a typical user profile issue.... I logged on with another account to fix the issue. I decided to try central on that account and it worked without issue. I have no idea what's going on with my main computer account, that prevents central from working properly.

For those that complained in my earlier post about central... you may want to try another user account to see if that works out. I was able to make an offline installer as well as do an on-line install using another account. So far... it seems to be a solid solution for me!

In my case... central would give an error message when trying to make an off-line installer, I also couldn't install any products or demos from the cloud with it, no matter what I tried. Non of Waves suggestions worked. Other aspects of central worked correctly. Quite a few users had an similar issue that was discussed in several threads, but_ no real solution was ever reported to my knowledge.

This was my experience from day(1) when central was released. Other users are still having the same issue, so I thought maybe this could possibly help. I have no idea why central doesn't work properly on my main user account, but works just fine on the same computer using another computer account. They're both the same type of accounts. When I switch back to my main account, all products show up in my DAW's with no issue at the moment.
