Anyone ever had this problem before. I've tried installing repeatedly, in a bunch of different locations. It acts as if it's installing but doesn't actually do anything.

OTT doesn´t install? Even OTB and BCS are installing, and IHT too!

I had the same issue - I forget how I fixed it - either I elected to install both versions (32/64), or the DLL got installed to the wrong place, and I found it....

Noticed that the installer for Win can be extracted, so I could pick out the 32 bit and 64 bit dll files that way.

Unfortunately OTT doesnt have the most important functions of live's MB-compressor, like gain-by-band and so on..

Actually, a bit off topic: Any other like this, but in VST format? Mostly using to upward the ambience.

Steve (XFer) actually update his OTT about a year back, to make it fully functional (ie. more than a preset). So it's definitely possible to adjust the gain of the bands.

I personally use Fabfilter Pro-MB, which is very good.

Oh damn, I hadn't updated it. Thanks! It also seems to have Up/Down too. Nice.
I will check out Pro-MB.

Another good one is probably TDR Nova, which has a paid (but cheap) and free version.

So kinda late but what should I used to extract from the installer? Or maybe someone wants to just throw me the 64 bit version?

I had this too, pressing win-button and typing OTT.dll into the search area solved where it had misplaced the files, then I moved them to VST -directory.

Sorry I dont remember the directory but that search should find them

So OTT's install isn't installing anything...
