i'm in the process of making some multisamples out of an old toy keyboard. i have recorded all the notes to large files, and now i need to get each note into a separate file. of course, i can do the cutting buy hand, but that is very tedious. i'm pretty sure i've seen a program that does this (splits wave files into smaller files based on a threshold level), but i can't find any now.
so: what program does this, how well does it do it? free is preferred, of course.
