There's a short window enrolment for one in sound design, i took a free webinar which gave some good insight into the course but they are a fair investment (50% off though) so i'm kinda on the fence about signing up so curious about anyone's experience with the course in general.
I know the tutors are high level but i'm trying to ascertain what i will gain from the course, trying to curb the money i spend on music for a while, guess i could try the soundtoys one for $97 for noew and get the next one but it's a bit of a gamble knowing whether i'll get what i want need out of it.
Cheers!
Anyone taken the mixmasterwyatt courses?

I saw some of his courses on macprovideo / askvideo
Can't say that the material was bad (even picked up a thing or two) , but I have the feeling that he's hiding knowledge or sometime he simply acts like he knows more than him....
not sure what his official website puts out though.
What are you trying to learn more specifically?

It's a different tutor but it's advanced sounddesign; supercollider, spectral, fft, additive, physical modelling, granular etc.
What i want to do is advance my sound design for my own production and potentially to design and sell my own soundbanks but i don't use these forms of synthesis much. Basically utilise better what i've got.
The courses are not cheap though and this offer may not come again, I think they've done the 50% offer before though...
Deadline is tonight, i think i'm just gonna get the soundtoys for course now, i haven't really gotten in depth with it since buying it.
