I'm going to be using Sampletank in Protools on a PC.
Any recommendations on minimum memory or processors speed necessary for optimum performance?

I have a compaq evo P4 1.7 with 512 and have no problems. It has 2 7200rpm drives, I have the OS and Protools on the C drive and record to the D. Right now the best deal is a P4 800mhz 2.8 or so. If you can put in a gig or ram you can run more channels and effects, but if you are just using sampletank, vocals and a track or two, my configuration is great... hope this helps.

Very helpful! My current configuration is 1.7 ghz with the 384 meg ram that protools requires. I also have a standalone drive for recording the audio.
Am I right in thinking that RAM (being that this is a rompler) is what is really essential, and not processor speed? At this point, it sounds like I should pick up another stick of memory.
