For those who want a second full-size monitor for your laptop or small form factor PC, I give you the USB Video Card:

Since I'm considering getting a video capture card soon, which would take up my shuttle XPC's AGP card slot, this USB video card sounds ideal for adding that eventual 2nd monitor to my set-up. It's limited in quality due to bandwidth issues, but for music applications this is hardly an issue.
