Does anyone know how I can turn a wav file into an acid file. So need to slice the wav file and also set tempo and map to a key. Thanks.

Clearly SF Sound forge has plenty of features to turna simple wav into an acid file, but it is a full fledged audio editor that you might not really need.

I recall a free prog called Acid Blotter and a shareware one called Acidizer especially coded for this purpose. try googling for this pair.

If I'm not mistaken all the 'acidizer' does is make the wavs show up as 'one-shots' in acid.
