So anyone bought Falcon Expansions yet?

There are two expansions for Falcon out already: Spectre and Analog Motion.
Thinking about a purchase but would love to hear some opinions before: The sound-demos weren't that bad but also somehow unconvincing.
Does anyone tried them out already? Any experiences so far?
Thanx for the input!

I like Analog Motion because it´s usable for different genres but i would also not call it outstanding. Spectre is not my thing because i think the market is already saturated with this kind of sounds.
But in general Falcon could do much more and i miss excellent packs like in Alchemy 1 (R.I.P.).
I think Simon Stockhausen (patchpool) also released a few expansions for Falcon.
I hope for a Luftrum expansion in near future.
Sadly i don´t use Falcon much since i own it for some reasons.
I like the sampled instruments much more like f.e. Attack EP88.

I was just looking at Patchpool Falcon presets and I think I rather buy a whole another synth instead. My God those are some pricey patches.

I have both and I like them both. I guess spectre does something many other synths do, but the quality of the presets is great, and gives falcon some bread and butter sounds which I felt were slightly lacking beforehand. Analog motion is different, yes, but a little harder to fit in sometimes because of it. In my opinion, they're both worth the price of admission, extending the sounds of falcon, which is already quite a capable synth.

Thanx for the info jlaws! The price of 39€ per extension is on the edge for me but i can wait for a sale.jlaws wrote:I have both and I like them both.

This is my take, as well. Maybe I'm just a disgruntled Alchemy fan, but Camel's sound libraries remain the high water mark for me (as far as "official" libraries go). I'd love to see Falcon exploit the same market.Cinebient wrote:

Yep, i mean i have now Alchemy 2 inside Logic but it loses the magic since then.anxiousmofo wrote:This is my take, as well. Martin Walkers patch bank Steamworx is still my all time favourite bank.
I loved most of the official banks and i was always happy to get a new one like getting a whole new synth each time.
Since then, no synth offers this for me.
Also i don´t know a synth which can have a more interesting moving sounds due to the remix pads and really smooth morphing of the parameters when using it.
Falcon can´t do such things. Assigning macros and automations is not the same and i hate it.
