hi all.

i hope someone will have the solution for my search. i've been using P5 for half a year, and i like it a lot, i find the interface very clean and easy to work with, i think its great. there is one problem though. i make music with my friend who lives in another country, and we exchange P5 files all the time. when we use VST or P5 internal instruments its great, i open his files and it plays exactly the same, as we have the same set of VST instruments and effects. the problem comes when we start using a drum machine, Velocity for example or any sampler. basically anything to do with WAVs/samples. obviously for this kind of song we have also to send the zipped WAV's + we must have the same path to those WAVs on our computers. so usually we spend some time just changing the paths for samples, and then saving again, but then it start again when we exchange that new version of the file :(

yesterday i accidently discovered, that in Reason its possible to save a "self contained song", which also includes the WAVs from the NN-XT sampler. what a great idea! the problem is i dont really like Reason, and would prefer to avoid it. i'm quite positive that such feature is not even in plans for P5, but maybe there's another sequencer that can save the same self contained file as Reason? please note, i'm not talking about saving a song with its audio tracks in a bundle, but saving the whole song with any instruments samples/WAV's, so it will play the same on my friend's computer without having to change any paths or folders. will it help if i'll buy Sonar with that Vsampler?
maybe there's some kind of self-contained saving plugin i could use with P5?

thanks in advance.
