Greetings fellow artists-
I made a post a few days back seeking collaboration, well, I thought I should pour as much detail into this thread as possible.
Still looking for a collaborator. I should have a vocalist lined up already, but I am looking to try and get a different sound with both a light singer and a metal screamer to sing at the same time. Currently talking to over 6 vocalists, but still looking for the perfect one.
If you want to hear a sound I am looking for- try this new track by Flaw called "Medicate":
www.reverieentertainment.net/Misc
Select the track "Medicate.mp3" through there.
~
As you can see, this is an interesting genre of music that would also allow the group to write just "mellow" or just "hard" music or both. Lots of possibilities.
I can create my own loops, sfx, guitar and drum beats and all. But most of my tracks end up a bit more industrial than I enjoy so I am looking for:
-1 talented singing vocalist. Looking for a pure singer who enjoys the heavier side of things as well as singing.
-1 talented screamer/growler who knows how to kick it up a notch.
-1 solo artist who enjoys creating heavy guitar riffs and deep drum loops. A good fx/synth mixer is a plus.
Ideally, the group will contain 4 members. 2 vocalists and 2 mixers.
~
"What are your qualifications?"
I do have one track up for download on soundclick.com, a instrumental track called "Drain". Its currently the #1 Alternative Metal track on Soundclick.com. You can download the track at:
www.soundclick.com/lightstruck
I currently have one professional band artist creating the album and group artwork. High qualtiy work. I already have a pro web designer lined up as well who will be creating the website when the group is ready. Including setting up a store, forums, Media downloads etc.
I have two and a half years experience as a Producer in the gaming industry and have had my fair share of dealing with both lawyers, agents, investors and publishers. So I am very confident in my ability to sell an EP with the help of my lawyers who I work with on a daily basis. Record Labels are looking for something different- something that can make money without costing tons to finance. A collaborative group requires only funding to pay for the IP rights and the funding to create the next album. No touring financing, and the labels still get alot of sales. The #1 source of income for most bands.
Dual Vocalists- Going for a different sound.
