There's really more important things in life. And publicly shaming someone, calling him by name is really over over OVER exaggerated in this case. Seriously, i often wonder if you should not consider doing something else than spending so much time online, and on your own. You're showing the typical signs of someone doing so.

That is not true, he could sue you for such allegations, based on old hearsay.TheoM wrote:please understand he takes your money, then disappears for months or years at a time, only to re emerge with some new apology and how he's back stronger than ever. Rinse, cycle, repeat.
I have bought many Rigid Audio libs, and they have always been delivered to me in minutes after ordering

I was a plugins for life customer with Prodyon. It was all Synth Edit stuff, and later Kontakt Library's. I got way more than my money's worth from Dennis, and consider him a decent bloke. I've had no spam from Rigid Audio, but since I changed my email address this year, I get no unsolicited mail ...
Good luck to him I say

I've been spammed by Rigid Audio as well. I was wondering which audio company sold my email address, but this explains it. Also no unsubscribe which is definitely illegal here. I've added to the spam senders, so no big deal. But anyone who does email marketing must realize about unsubscribes by now. Those who don't are immediately suspect for bad business practices imo.

I have had both rigid audio and prodyon clone emails recently and they do not have unsubscribe on them I am happy enough to think it is a simple mistake rather than something "sinister"

Personally I have nothing against the guy and I did get bunch of stuff at the Prodyne end-of-life sale. It was good 15$ spent. But at that time the guy said that he is done for good with music software only to come back under a new name half a year later. And I guess he's done it before, as I remember a lot of complaining about it at that time.
Fortunately I haven't got any spam from him at all (yet).

Former Prodyon customer here. I received this e-mail in april 2015 from VSTBuzz:
"WELCOME PRODYON CUSTOMERS
Hi there! You're receiving this email because you previously purchased a product from the music software company called Prodyon.
In January, Prodyon have ceased trading and we purchased the rights to their sample libraries. As a Prodyon customer, we have imported your orders so you can continue to keep access to your old products for free on our website:
Access your Prodyon download links here: https://vstbuzz.com/my-account/ (you will need to reset your password to login the first time)
---
Also, we'd like to apologise...
In the process of importing your details and orders, our system automatically asked you to confirm being signed up to our mailing list, which is not nice. We're very sorry about this - we hate nothing more than being added to companies mailing lists when we never asked.
We take privacy very seriously - you shouldn't be added to the newsletter unless you clicked the confirm button in the email, but if you clicked it accidentally, just click the button below to unsubscribe right away:
Once again, we're very sorry about this and it was not our intention to do this. We only wanted to ensure that people were able to retain their download links for old Prodyon products before the company shuts down their website.
If you have any questions at all, just email us at prodyon@vstbuzz.com and we'll get right back to you.
The VSTBuzz Team"
So i guess you have to contact them about what i think is an error and not
something made on purpose.
Here is the link i had in that email
for unsubscribing:

Agree with people earlier in the post. Public shaming without concrete evidence is wrong and hasty.
