Is 1.4.0 stable? I'm using Avenger on important stuff and i can't afford messing it up.

There already is 1.4.1. Here on macos 10.13, it still is not stable, quite often hangs, force quits at file browser popups or loading/closing/opening. Seems to be a tiny bit less unstable than before though. So I guess you won't loose anything by updating. That said some ARP? presets will be converted or so, so no way back then...?

I booted up Avenger but it isn't saying updates available (I am on 1.3X)- do you have to log in manually to get this one?

In fact 1.4.1 appears to be old news, there's talk of 1.4.2 in the changelog:

1.4.2 hotfix
- fixed a problem with arp notes did irgnore legato
- fixed a problem with poly legato split zone load/save

1.4.1 - minor fixes
- minor internal changes to fix the crash on preset save.
- sorting folder list for multisample import
- fixed a small issue with multisample-conversion for sample-stacker
- fixed a issue with changing chorder-arp presets would stop arp playback
- fixed note-hang issue
- adjusted font-brightness in the fx-section for the vintage skin

For the mini sidechain it would be great to be able to select what frequencies to sidechain it be great for the sequences

Login to your vengeance sound account and redownload the vst. This upgrade is diff from the others you need to dl it again in same location as your current version. Hope this helps

I saw many people selling their Avenger license so I demoed the current version again to check it ot maybe buy it cheap 2nd hand.
After playing around for 20 minutes or so, Avengers ui freezed and it repeated the same short buffered sound in a loop for a minute or so. I couldn't unload it and had to kill the daw task. I used bandlab cakewalk because it's still not usable in a usual way in ableton. It's now getting pretty ridiculous tbh...
