Once a year I get bit by the "Use-all-free-stuff" bug.
So it's time to challenge myself to make decent [audio quality] songs using as much as possible, ALL free stuff.
At 1st it was just going to be all free plugins but then I read on bpd.com that Tracktion just released their v5 daw for free.
I've tried v4 but it didn't work for me.
I'm giving the DAW a whirl again to see if it's gotten better. So far it has! But one..... That one thing..... eversince....
I've done the googling and came up empty.
Can anybody tell me if I can now randomize midi properties in Tracktion v5?
Mainly I want to randomize velocity, timing & length.
If I can, then how?
If I can't, is there a workaround besides getting a separate step-sequencer [plugin]?
Bonus Question: Is there any way I can change all the selected MIDI notes to the same note lengths?
Thanks to whoever will reply

There's a Tracktion KVR forum you could ask on. Might get you an answer more quickly.

I'm not aware of a way to add the randomness you mention, but someone else might be. There is a groove option that can be applied.
