Hey all.

I tried contacting Waldorf about an issue with ppg wave v3 and Reaper and I haven't heard anything in over two weeks. Nothing in the spam folder either.

I've never tried contacting Waldorf before but it's the only dev I've never even gotten a reply from. I don't have issues for the most part but once in a while I need to ask a question or make a request and an answer has always followed.

I used their support and contact channels via their website so I'm sure they received it.

What's the verdict on Waldorf support?

I love when companies are more than happy to grab your hard earned money for their product and then basically tell you to shove off if there is any issue. In full disclosure I bought Largo and PPG wave v3 and the sound is phenomenal.

I'm not trying to badmouth the company it's just annoying that they feel it's perfectly acceptable to ignore paying customers with legitimate issues.

I have my own company on a much smaller scale and that is not how I deal with people who have issues or questions and have paid me and helped to support my family.

My support ticket may have just fallen through the cracks also, things happen. :?:

In all fairness, I'm actually quite surprised that they haven't responded at all. I've contacted Waldorf support 3 times in total, and they've always replied within a few days. They sorted me out with a Waldorf edition license key the first time and answered my questions about license transfers another time. I got a reply the one time I did have a problem as well, it's just that it was a really weird response.

Like I said I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try contacting support again.
