It seems that more and more companies are using this service for downloading of their products. But downloading from these services is almost unbearably slow for me, even though I have no problems downloading from other sites. I don't know whether my ISP throttles traffic from Amazonaws because it associates it with piracy or something.
I bought the Strings sample bundle from Embertone and it took me almost a month to download it, inching forward bit by bit in Continuata!
Recently I bought a Voices of Rapture set from SoundIron, only to find that the downloading had to be done from this same service. I am now downloading it very slowly. I had been contemplating buying some of the choir libraries from the same company but will now have to shelve those plans as these libraries are huge and would probably take me 6 months-1 year to download at current rates.
I am not even able to download the 145Mb Serum synthesizer demo download because it uses the same service.
Does anyone else have these problems?

I loath Continuata too, but if you ask they will send you manual download links instead. I had this experience with both Embertone and Soundiron in the last couple of weeks and they were very fast in sending me the links.

Yes, I got these links, but they were very slow too and the downloads interrupted before they were completed. It seems to come from the same underlying service.

Hmmm, never had that problem myself. The Continuata downloader is useless, but the manual links have always been fine for me.
