Hamster music is just like I thought it would be: a mixture of twee xylophones/glockenspeils and recorders playing rapid passages followed by staccato jabs of music. Still, better than many school orchestras.

One day this had to be designed ... a MIDI-music system based on animal-behavior. Both interesting and funny.
It reminds me of google's pigeon ranking system : http://www.google.com/technology/pigeonrank.html
But here there's also interaction: a hamster moves ... a drum sound is triggered ... which excites the hamster for a moment ... making him move ... another sound is triggered ... etc.
What if there's only sound when the hamsters don't move? They'll keep on moving for silence and ultimately get exhausted. Poor animals
But I guess the designer/programmer has at least some empathy with the animals.

The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.
