One thing i do with FLStudio is tweak the master stereo seperation a bit. I think this adds a quality to the sound coming out of the speakers.

Sometimes a multiband limiter too.

Be careful. I got caught in the trap where I thought I absolutely HAD to do something to a track during mastering.
Trust your ears. If it sounds great with no mastering, you probably don't need to master it. There's no need to compress or add reverb if the song already sounds great.
