This is my first song "Agree" I expose here, but pleaze, DONT be gentle on me  I would like some criticism...

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/haghimusic.htm

Concerning the song: its something between, erm, well... I dont know, you tell me

I think of adding vocals and maybe some live gee-tar with some wahwah, but Ill see bout that, but Im surely gonna shorten it a little bit to make it 3 minutes instead of 5 but I dont know as for now which parts I should take then :help:

Anyway, tanx for ur time listening to it and cu!

Well I like the song itself. The rhodes at the beginning is alittle to in your face I think. What did you use for the Rhodes? It just doesn't seem to mesh quite right for me and I love the Rhode , use it alot myself. Maybe tweak that patch a little. Some nice mellow maybe jazz guitar leads sprinkled throughout.Nice song I enjoyed it.

The tune is nice.
Bass is nice, some synths are nice too.
Timing probs with the guitar at 0:36 (and generally, it does not fit the groove), drums are too busy at times, pans are too extreme (hats).
3:15-3:20 is good, this should be the kind of transparence you should aim for IMHO.
Some kind of highlight missing, nice frist track though.

hey thanx for listening and the comments!
I agree blue (hence: the title of the song  ) on what u said, especially on the hi-hats, so I thought Id just lose em. See, the problem was, I have 4 way round speaker system and on my system the hats went round and round, but if u listen to it on a 2 way speaker system the hats just went "TSJAK-TSJAK-TSJAK", u know what i mean :), I just kept them at the beginning but at a much lower speed and in the rest of the song I dumped em.
Tried to fit the guitar, its a little better, but now the melody rhodes is off tempo, oh lol  .

Oh and fxe, about the rhodes, almost all of what u hear are freebees :P . Yup, thats right! U hear the, in my opinion too good to be true to be free, Plugsound free "a suitcase light" instrument! I just love plugsound free, IMHO it has some of the best sounds available (btw, i also used spanish guitar and piano light in this song, u can hear it if u listen well). For the rest: drums are ns7kit_free and basses are soundfonts from hammersound (slapbass and ibanez bass). I also used on the rhodes a little bit of P1-tapedelay, which is...also free :). The only thing not free I used was the host and T-racks for the whoompy bass and drums. Oh, and some free synth I got somewhere.

Anyway, tanx for listening and I know how to finish this song now thanx to u guys (girls?)! Btw keep in mind, it only took me 1 afternoon to write this song, hehe.

On to the next one brave soldiers!

i almost forgot: i also used the (what do u guess... FREE!!!!!!!!!) cadenza soundfont from hammersound for the strings. As u might have guessed, I luv (good) soundfonts and i spent ours to search for good soundfonts, but hey, after all, i only use a SB audiocard, which makes me highly "unprofessional" i guess  . Just kidding :P !

Hey, pretty cool and funky. Love the bass. Reminds me of Faith no More. The rhodes doesn't sound in your face to me. As you mentioned, a wah wah guitar would sound quite good there. I wish I could make music like you. No matter how good my songs are, I can never give them that "live" feeling you managed to pull off. Maybe it's the drums, which sound very natural. I guess the song could use some more variation, though... either that or you should make it shorter(I know you were already planning it, don't tell me).
