midi files for bass guitar?

Where can I find midi files for standard bass lines;
rock , country, ballad, etc. I've searched here and on the net but can't find what I'm looking for.

I used midi drum patterns to help learn drum sequencing and they provided a great starting point.
I was hoping to do the same with some midi bass patterns.

Find a SMF of any song you want from the net (quality varies) and then isolate the bass part. I've done this a few times and it usually sparks something off...
