Hi all
Since early February, I´ve been living very close to a tramway. It´s right outside the building, and I live on the 3rd floor.
Every time a train stops there, the image becomes unstable, like slowly moving from side to side for 10 seconds.
Well, let me correct myself: It happends often, but I´m not 100 % sure that it happends when the train stops.
So my question is: Can there be some very heavy magnets in those trains causing this? Is that normal?
If it´s not normal, could it be that the screen has become more sensitive to certain things, such as the trains, because I in December, forgetting about what a bad idea that is, put up my BOSE speakers right next to it for 24 hours, where it took a day or two getting it back to looking normal again?
Is this what causes my monitors strange behavour?

Trains use electromagnets for braking, and trust me, they are EXREMELY powerful!Roman Empire wrote:Hi all

While I don't have exact figures, the power used in these magnets is measured in kilowatts!

Ok, so that´s prolly it. I´ve learned to live with this, and I´ll choose to let myself fascinate about all these kilowatts every time it happendsmeroveus wrote:Trains use electromagnets for braking, and trust me, they are EXREMELY powerful!Roman Empire wrote:Hi all
