I need a simple sequencer. Any midi writing style. This is to write midi and output midi to a port. Sequencer needs to clock to MTC too.
What are some suggestions?

I use Logic5, or Reason. Both are obviously overkill (and one has been killed)

Anvil Studio (http://www.anvilstudio.com/) might be what you need. It's also free.
