[FIXED with reinstall] Reaper - mousewheel suddenly disabled in main window

Hi, the mousewheel has suddenly become disabled int he main window in Reaper - mean there is no zoom anymore

any idea how to fix this?

[EDIT] complete reinstall was the quickest easiest way to repair this.
