Think this would be handy for spark 2 automatic numbering for the patterns. So they can be used in DAW without having to assign each one individualy. It's a pain to do takes ages a real inspiration killer spending 10 minutes assigning notes to patterns. Would it also not better to have the note instead of a number or both

I wish that I could assign only the notes I want to the specific pads, and inactivate the remaining pads.
Can't seem to find a way to do that in the software, either in Spark, or the MCC.

Are you using it with a MIDI keyboard? That's what I'm getting. ... It's not really designed for that, to be fair.boombaxx wrote:Think this would be handy for spark 2 automatic numbering for the patterns. Remember, you can just drag-n-drop the MIDI patterns out of the sequencer and directly into your DAW. Then they're named in order -- depending on your DAW i suppose.
If you start a new project, all the pads will be empty. Then just put what you want on the pads you want. .......... or perhaps i misunderstand you.TonyFlyingSquirrel wrote:I wish that I could assign only the notes I want to the specific pads, and inactivate the remaining pads.

At any rate, there's been zero word from Arturia on the future of Spark 2 .. or if there even is one. So I wouldn't be expecting updates any time soon.
