Hansa Studio Depeche Mode

for your info...

I visited Hansa tonstudio in Berlin last week.

( Yea, the one where Bowie recorded "Heroes". )

I played Depeche Mode's song "Somebody" on the same pliano and in the same studio (studio 1) where it originally was recorded.

I also kissed the SSL 4000E console that was used for all those legendary records.

I've reached nirvana !

They are still active. You can see view their schedule on their website www.hansatonstudio.de

But I believe they've scaled down a bit. For examkple - the control room for Studio 2 (the big hall) is gone.
