Just gone upto broadband, yet as there are four computers in the house I needed a router to get everything going. Only the BT software will only work when the BT modem is connected. Compounding this, the settings are all automatic, so I can't see what settings to apply to the router.
Anyone have experience of BT and routers. What I'm really looking for is the IP and DNS addresses for BT Openworld, as that appears to be the crux of my problems (plus I'm new to networking...an area of computers with way too many acronyms).

just to add more info, it's a BELKIN ADSL MODEM ROUTER, two computers are connected via LAN, the other two via wireless. All computers can connect to the router page (192.168.2.1) but I just can't seem to get the router to get online.
