:help:

Propellerheads scream4 "fuzz" distortion is causing an incredible frequency boost at about 0 - 8 HZ on my bassline.. My frequency analyser shows that 0- 8 hz is always peaking at 0db. I've never seen this before and i'm not able to get rid of it.. tried heavy eqing.. hum remover, nothing works.. what is this ?

It sounds like some sort of error in the scream4 or in the functioning between windows/soundcard and Reason... Have you tried to reinstall?

As for the peaks, as you may know the human body only responds to frequencies as low as 12Hz, and frequencies below aprox 35 you will feel rather than hear. The 12Hz tone is actually quite damaging to the human body if it's loud enough, it goes through your body via your bones and can actually damage internal organs, bonestructures and so on if it's loud enough.

BUT, there aren't any speaker designed(as I know of, maybe some scientific stuff) made to produce frequncies as low as this. So I wouldn't worry to much about that this cluttering your mix. On the other hand, if this frequency boost uses cpu power it could be a good idea to get rid of it...

I know this is kinda off the topic..

Try to send a mail to propellerheads and see if they have heard of this error before, maybe they have some sort of a solution...
