hey folks..I'm going to buy my first software for mastering, ihave sampletank , so I know that ikmultimedia means good quality
, anyway , I'm trying to decide if I should go for t-racks plug in or waves power pack , they are both about the same price . the thing is that waves is know as the best master soulution . t-racks at first doesnt look as professional as waves , but is preety easy to use . I downloaded the demo for both of them. t-racks has a "SOUND" , I dont know how to explain it ...waves sound more like the plug ins I already have in logic 6 platium .

AmpliTube (different than Samplitude) is good for other instruments besides guitars. Its great for organs and other keyboards plus a lot of other sounds that you want to warm up, distort or effect. Handy to have around plus you never know if a guitarist is coming over but if you don't have a real guitar amp then this will do the trick.
T-Racks is great for the sound and a more simple organic approach. Waves is good for more fixing like getting rid of noise, clicks etc. and a more scientific approach to mastering... In general terms.
