No posts on this so I thought I'd share info about the newest update.
You can now load soundfonts in Tal Sampler. If you have multilayered soundfonts (different sounds for different velocities) you can load 1 sound for each layer of which there are 4.

thanks for thr heads up, this may come in real handy as i have millions of soundfonts i've collected over the years and nothing really good to utilize them inside my current daw. EnergyXT2 sampler supports SF2 but its shakey.

Np. Same here.Shortcircuit is my favorite ... but I have lots of soundfonts that are loops that I never really got a chance to play with. Not to mention, I try to do things in 64 bit now so having a tool that stretches & can handle some basic importing & has that real sampler sound will be fun.
I just wish there were some more filters in Tal Sampler... like a highpass & bandpass.

I hope it plays soundfonts back in the way they should be played back. Heard too many soft samplers who play back sf2 files poorly. Even EXS24 doesn't do it well. They all fail at the more complicated soundfonts.
