Hey there! This is my first post on KVR and hopefully you guys can help me out! I've posted this in a couple of places trying to figure the problem out but I haven't had too much help. This is the problem:So I use FL Studio and I have a Brodmann BDP 15 Digital Piano (can't find a SINGLE manual online for this thing). It supports USB MIDI by a type A USB port, the other side plugs into the computer, I have the chord which is a Type A male to Type A male USB chord. So I plug it in to the computer with the chord, open up FL, go to MIDI options like every video I looked up says to do, now my screen looks like this: http://imgur.com/a/yTJqk (http://imgur.com/a/yTJqk)
With everything looking like that, FL receives no signals from the piano. The piano has a "MIDI" button on it, but when I press it, it ends up tuning the piano(???) (http://imgur.com/a/MjnuB (http://imgur.com/a/MjnuB)). I have no idea how to get the MIDI signal (green light in FL) to show up!
