Ok, here is the deal. I'm using a 3Com ADSL Router to acess the Internet and also share files from my computer to my wife's notebook. ;-)

BUT, yesterday, both computers got a WORM virus when I left them ON during the whole night. It got inside the computer using the Netbios, I confirmed that. AVG stoped the virus before anything was done, so ufff. :D

Now I'm using only TCP-IP protocol, but I would like to know how to properly configurate the 3COM 812 Firewall so I don't need to use Windows-XP one. If I use it, I can't open the files on the other computer... :(

I used several sites that scan for ports, and closed all reported ones. Acording to those sites, my sitem is secured. But I would like to know from others bout this subject. :P
