I don't like the step seq. in SX and i want to use FL as a drum machine. But i cannot switch patterns from cubase. What i'm missing ? Is it possible that FL to send back midi to SX so i can play samples from kontakt ?

working like that, I think you'd have to build the drum parts as a song in the play list.
at least, that's how I've done it.

On the options/midi settings menu in FL select a midi channel for 'playlist live mode midi channel' , lets say 10 cos its drums.

Go into the FL playlist menu and select 'live mode'

Now in cubarse (I'm using vst, but it should be the same in that new bag o shite) you can play and switch patterns from a midi track on channel 10, starting at C2 for pattern 1.

Still probably muxh easier to to program the whole lot in FL as a long string of patterns, old stylee drum machine way, though if you ask me.

Thanks for the tip, i did it this way and is much faster too

I was a bit scared by the 1 pattern delay after i hit the play btn in sx.
