I want to buy myself a Kontakt string library to celebrate this wonderful festival of Black Friday.
Options I am considering are:
8DIO Adagio and Agitato bundles
LASS 2.5 + sordino pack
Spitfire either chamber or symphonic
Native instruments thing
These are the priorities for me:
sounds lovely
nice controllable legato
nice controllable vibrato
good divisi management
manageable memory and processor overhead
Any thoughts, my musical friends?

I'm in a similar situation. I'm considering this: https://www.strezov-sampling.com/produc ... rings.HTML

Since OP mentioned Adagio and LASS Sordino Pack, just a note, CSS2, Albion One (I don't know about Chamber or Symphonic), Orchestral Tools and GPO5 use emulated sordino instead of recorded, to reduce the sample amount. To my knowledge only Adagio, LASS, Cornucopia and Aria Sounds London Symphonic Strings (unconfirmed) have recorded sordino.
