A real pioneer in so many ways. I've seen her perform in deep meditation with accordion and effects rack. I think about her practice often.

In fact after Risset died recently I posted "You hang on tight, Schulze, Subotnick, Oliveros and Chowning."

Annus Horribilis = Horrible Year (it's latin). If you never heard about Puline Oliveros, you owe to yourself to do some research. It's a true electronic music pioneer, one of those that started when slicing tape was the best tool available.

I think Annus Horribilis is either a curse one of the Deatheaters cast upon the muggle world or a description of what happens when you put too many peppers into chili.
