So does this voucher work on updates?
I have held off on Reaktor 6 (update from 5) but with a discount, it would be rude not to buy myself an early gift!

OK well worth it anyway - great fun and some nice sounds - amazing how sophisticated Kontakt scripting has become
Installer is dumb though - I told it where to put it (on my SSD drive) and it still put it where it wanted to (on my main drive) so I had to move it

I'm looking forward to downloading the freebie later. This looks like fun.

I guess they will be doing 50 % off on upgrades again. They do it regularly.

This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

What's the use of that, why can't a user just add the serial to the NI Service Center, and download from that.
Is Native Access supposed to take over from the service center?
I need a better carrot than this freebie to do that straight away, this must be the most lackluster of NI's x-mas freebies yet. Like a sampler for UVI Toy Museum.

Service Center worked the other way around: you downloaded the product, installed it and then entered the key. The advantage with Native Access is that you can just add the key right away and then download. The downside is they haven't added the option to keep the downloaded installers yet. So if you like to keep local copies you have to copy them to another location fast before they get deleted by the installer. That and it refuses to "activate" my Vokator and Spektral Delay so they show up as demos. They still work fine so it's not a biggie.
Once you have the download you can still install and activate it the old way with Service Center. But you need Native Access to get the download in the first place. Unlike the previous gifts there's no download link in your account.

But I download updates to plugs via Service Center, why not also then download the installers from it?sprnva wrote:Service Center worked the other way around: you downloaded the product, installed it and then entered the key.
Only NI knows...
