Several people have been able to just use any U.S. address and be able to get it.Ben H wrote:U.S customers only. Even though it's download only.
If that doesn't work, just wait, you should be able to pick it up for about $20 in a few weeks.

Thats the danger of these deals, the product is seen as devalued. Look at how much rp-delay or aas va1 went for after the audiomidi no brainer deals.ghettosynth wrote:If that doesn't work, just wait, you should be able to pick it up for about $20 in a few weeks.

Yeah, VA1 was funny, I never saw the rp-delay deal. I wonder though, if it's consistent across all products, or, if products that have intrinsically lower value are the kinds of products that can't recover?GaryG wrote:Thats the danger of these deals, the product is seen as devalued. I have to say that I'm happier than I expected to be with Synthmaster. I wasn't even slightly interested in yet another megasynth for even half price at $80 or whatever the most recent super discount was. I will jump on most current synths for $10. However, I passed on The One because I just didn't think that it had anything at all unique about it.
Synthmaster has some potential because of dual variable slope multimode filters. This allows you to create M12 style pads with it. Because the oscillators also have a wavetable mode it's really a great pad synth. I don't think that the filter quality is competitive with what Uhe is doing, but for some kinds of sounds, the flexibility sometimes trumps accuracy.
I don't really need it TBH, but it was worth $10, probably even a bit more than that to me.
So, I think that, unlike VA-1, it's got enough going for it that it should be able to recover a bit. The only thing that I'm happy about VA-1 is that it gives me a discount on their modeling collection which I may pick up at some point in the future. I bought it based on KVR enthusiasm, learned my lesson there.

As usual promised no more new synths this year (or ever) and Synthmaster is the last synth I would need or want as the likelihood that I would ever bother to program it in depth is very small. I do like the Player, and it sounds really good, but never been fan of megasynths that want to do it all (with the exception of VirSyn Tera 3). I'm not sure about the interface either as I did not like the CM or Beat editions of Synthmaster at all.
But go figure. Obviously first new year's resolution broken already. Also probably the most pointless purchase of 2017. That was quick.
But 10$ is a 10$ and less than a lunch out. So I'm not feel that much quilt. Maybe I will use it eventually for more than Player.

I'm in UK. I tried to fake my address to USA but it didn't go through, probably to do with fraud prevention with the address. If anyone in USA wants a free copy then I'll pay for two copies if you order both and send me a serial.

Anyone who is able to buy this but doesn't is missing out on the synth plug bargain of the century.
Chose a big mac combo over this deal and you deserve the type two diabetes, stroke or heart attack that may follow.
No brainer is an overused term, but 10 bucks, you're mental to pass it in.

If you really have $10 burning a hole in your pocket, donate it to a good cause, help someone who needs it.
