One of my Rokit8 (G2) has gone dead, no sound, nothing, what would seem to be the problem (if possible to answer that), and can I fix this myself?
For a while when I turned it on, there would be a very quiet sound of what I was playing, then it would pop back to its normal level. Now it is completely dead. Have tested the XLR cable and tried the 1/4' line into the speaker as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Got warranty? If yes: back to the shop!
Got experience with electronics repairs? If yes you would not ask the question, so you are still here.
Could be a loose wire, bad solder joint, bad capacitor, hard to tell. Even if you open it up, without a solder iron and measuring tools you probably won't find it.
Again: how old are these monitors? I would write them off economically in 7 years. So each year you owned them: put $100 in a jar. Now empty the jar and buy something better. KRK RoKit series is known for quality issues.

Thanks for those suggestions! I took off the back, tried it, and it worked. Worked all evening, then the next day, it was dead again, but after about 10-15 minutes of just being left on, it works again. So same as before now, takes some time before it 'pops' back to normal. Does that narrow things down at all? Thanks again
