So, the "Search" function in FL Studio's browser....

Does anyone else find it completely useless? I have my sample and loop folders showing in there, but it can't find s**t.

Maybe I don't know how to work it? For example: I need an orchestral hit, so I right click on my "loops and samples" folder, select "smart find", type "hit" in the field, hit enter, and all it does is opens the first folder where it finds the word "hit" in one of the contained samples... and that's it, it gives me one result, not even highlighted or anything. :dog:

Before you start: No, I don't want to talk bout it the Imageline forum... I'm just here to vent. :wink:

I have approximately three and half million samples* (not including anything NI). I know the names and formats of each file and where every file or folder is, which HDD it is on, etc,
Why would I need a search engine in FL ?

Wait a minute, there's a search engine in FL ?
Oh, in the browser, yes I forgot. Never took to the browser. Opens occasionally by accident.

People nowdays (no not nowadays),

People nowdays, uh, can't remember shit...

Try using facebook or youtube search for obscure stuff, though they are deliberately next-to-f**king-useless for a reason.

* + or - 2 million.
