Anyone else get hangups with Kontakt in Logic?

It resolves after a minute or more, but I would sure like to not get the hangups (freezes up Logic). This was happening when I had El Capitan (on Sierra, now) and prior to the latest Logic upgrade. I've read posts where it says you must open NI instruments in standalone mode first, but that's not resolved this issue. I have the latest Kontakt...

Any ideas?
