Where can I find other sound designers?

I'm a 47yo guy new to sound design/daws. I've been trying to find a community with more realtime feedback, meetups, usergroups, skype, irc, youtube live, twitch.tv, discord, etc. My current daw is Logic Pro. I live in Melbourne Florida area and I can't seem to find anyone interested in sound design, mainly because I'm not sure how to look. The most sound designed based store in this area is Best Buy. There are a few instrument stores but nothing electronic or digital really. Most are band instrument stores, not even a Guitar Center in the area. I may try to see if I can post something on craigslist. Any online or real life communities you could point me to would be greatly appreciated. thx!
