Anyone using Midex 3

I just layed my hands on a second hand Midex 3, but shock horror... NO DRIVERS! Luckily they can be downloaded from the Steinberg site, but they require the entry of a serial number. This leads nicely to my problem - where the f**k is the serial number ! I can see know sign of it anywhere in the unit or packaging.

I'll contact Steinberg distribution (was Arbiter) on Monday regardless, but if any help would be most appreciate! Im itching to get this bad boy fired up and see if its all its cracked up to be. I have a bunch of crap midi interfaces and Im hoping this will be a little tighter.
