Record any MIDI IN/OUT message and channel flown during performance?

I'm setting up live sets with Ableton Live, and I'd like to record both audio and MIDI.
As regards as MIDI, how can I track any MIDI message (not only the single tracks' automations i.e., but the whole flow of MIDI) both incoming into Ableton Live and outcoming to my virtual/hardware devices?
All this has to be done during a public performance.
