Is it possible to drag the automation-point as the song/looped-part of the song plays, and "finetuning" the automation live? WITHOUT unpressing the leftmousebutton?

Is live automation, "on the fly" REALLY impossible in FL Studio?

Eh? Just record whatever live automation you want into a pattern. I tend to do them all into one pattern to make it easy to edit etc. I've always done it this way - the automation clips always seem a bit fiddly to me.

Afaik, as soon as you touch a node in an automation clip in FLS, it´s inactive till you release it with the mouse...
So my guess would be: No, "live changes" during playback without releasing the mouse are not possible in FLS

Automation clips are for editing. Events are for tracking.
If you don't have a physical controller, you can still track mouse automation directly by manipulating a parameter whilst recording.
