Any offline LUFS meters which are like TT DR offline meter?

Can anyone advise if any offline LUFS meters exist which are like like TT DR offline meter as shown below? Obviously the latter is for measuring DR and RMS, and I use it all the time when mastering, but I want an LUFS option as well.

Cubase/Wavelab can give me the LUFS value for any audio clip but I really like the convenience of having it in a standalone app so hoping there is one.

For the record, when I say offline I mean you just load the file, not play it, and it processes it and it gives you the details.

Grimm Audio also has "standalone" tools.
And some of the ITU-R meters offer "drag and drop" on top of the UI to just see the readouts.


TT DR-meter is sadly "locked" to 44kHz 16bit. There was NEVER an update... it's pretty much outdated (or rather integrated into ITU-R specs) at this point now anyway.

May I ask why this is so important at the *cough* "Age of Loudness Normalization"?

If you happen to have a host that has offline analysis with Decibel True Peak Max readout, you basically have the same. Except for the RMS value though (which brings me back to the "Age of Loudness Normalization", where the LUFS value is currently the most interesting aspect). Shouldn't pretty much all major hosts in the Mastering realm have a patch analysis tool?

I just want to make sure all tracks on a release are of equal loudness. True peak doesn't mean much when doing this and RMS isn't as accurate as LUFS.

Yes I could do it all within my DAW, put I simply prefer a quick tool for doing it outside of my DAW so I can quickly jump between files and keep multiple instances of it open if I want to compare a range of tracks for example. Plus some of the offline tools offer more than what my DAW can do, such as M/S LUFS reporting.

I wouldn't focus so much on indepentent M/S readout, as LUFS measurement is a "summed readout" (which makes more sense anyway).


Then I guess I can only recommend you the tools you already know. And should you happen to have Wavelab, use the Batch Analysis tool.

The M/S LUFS values can be handy for getting consistent width.

Yup, mid and side consistently an equal loudness balance between tracks.
